CAV Ice Protection Displays FIKI Baron at Sun ‘n Fun

CAV Ice Protection will exhibit a Beechcraft Baron with Flight Into Known Icing (FIKI) capabilities at Sun ’n Fun International Fly-In & Expo in Lakeland, FL from March 29-April 3 at Exhibit MD2. The Baron 58’s ice protection features the proprietary weeping wings TKS Ice Protection System designed and manufactured by CAV Ice Protection.

“Even though we are coming out of the winter icing season, CAV Ice Protection is available year-round to install our proven ice protection systems in a wide variety of general aviation aircraft,” said Kevin Hawley, president of CAV Ice Protection. “Now is the perfect time to schedule an upgrade when we can work around customer schedules.”

The company was also recently approved for TKS Ice Protection Systems for the Cessna Caravan FIKI and Quest KODIAK FIKI.
